Exchange with Frisia Museum

As from 7 October - by the time the third Independent Realists Exhibition will already be a fact in the history of art - works of the Mokum-collection will again have taken their regular places on the wall of the museum. However, lacking will be the works of Ferdinand Erfmann and Sal Meijer, as these will temporarily be on loan to the Frisia Museum, which is preparing an interesting exhibition about these two artists. In exchange Museum Mhlmann will get a number of works of the Frisia Collection, amongst which four fine works by Matthijs Röling. The rest of what is to come will, for the time being, remain a surprise.

Quality of the web-site

The web-site is widely praised, to our - and the makers’ - pride and joy. A pleasant surprise came from the Museumserver, that recommends the site and qualifies it as "very good".

Change of opening hours

Until recently Museum Mhlmann was only open on Saturdays and Sundays, 13.00-17.00 hrs. Now the museum is also open on Friday-afternoons (13.00-17.00 hrs.). With these extended opening hours we hope to be of better service to the public. For groups (a minimum of 15 persons) visits outside the regular hours are now also possible - by appointment only.

Further information: see also contact.

It took some effort, but at last there is a full-colour leaflet about Museum Mhlmann, with lots of illustrations and a crisp text.
