Generally speaking, people from Groningen are rather modest about their own province. Groningen culture is not held in high esteem by its own people, and most Groningers (mistakenly, if you ask us) look up to the rest of the Netherlands (especially the West). But Groningers are good folk, who have a golden culture and a rich province. About 25 artists have been invited to visually translate that which they admire most about Groningen. Let's dig up some treasures..
