A humble can of the fictitious brand "Canto" inspired Rob Møhlmann to paint a dazzling series of no less than 124 still lifes, on which he worked for eleven years (1982-1993). The painting of this Canto-project are nearly always to be seen in the museum, except during special or big exhibitions.

A visit to the museum is of course the best way to get an overall experience of the Canto-project. But because not everybody is able to do so, visitors to the web-site of Museum & Gallery Rob Møhlmann can have a look at the complete series of 124 Canto-paintings on the site. It would be pushing it a bit far to elaborate on every work, but number, title and year are always stated.
