In december 1990 a converted farmhouse with a built-in stable was bought at 61 Westerkerkweg in Venhuizen. Although in a better state than the previous house, the reconstruction took more than three years, but the result was a very comfortable house. It had a spacious studio, directly underneath the thatched roof (120m²), and a large exhibition-space (180m²). On Canto’s 116, 117, 118, 119, 120 and 121 a tour round the studio is made. In 1993 the last Canto was painted here.
